SLOwly but Surely- Using Eduphoria Applications to Design Student Learning Objectives
Research has shown that using data to set goals for student growth leads to greater academic growth and performance by students. SLOs provide a way for teachers to measure students’ progress while improving their instructional practice. In this session, participants will learn how to use data from Aware to choose skills for the focus of their SLO. Time will also be devoted to demonstrating how to collect and monitor progress on these goals in Strive.

Data Optics: Integrating Data Types and Data Visualizations
Data Optics is a hands-on workshop where participants generate lead4ward reports using their own data. The workshop focuses on understanding and using the data tools throughout the school year to enable more purposeful data conversations. The workshop also explores local assessment programs and ways to integrate data types and data visualizations.
2A to A+: Data Protocols to Impact Student Growth
Thinking about growth for all students continues to be increasingly important. This session will share how our district has used 2A: Academic Growth Reports from Accountability with targeted protocols to make instructional decisions for specific groups and individual students. These processes involved educators from the district level all the way to the classroom teacher. We used reports from Axiom Analytics, but other data systems could be used as well.

I Have the Data, Now What?
During this session, participants will learn how to use student achievement data in Aware to coach Principals, Assistant Principals, and other instructional leaders with a systematic approach to data disaggregation that is quick and effective. This coaching model allows instructional leaders to learn the appropriate questions to ask about the data, using which data points, and how to guide that conversation to a reflection of instructional practices and ultimately the actions steps needed by the team. Participants will walk away with access to our toolkit of resources to help campus and district leaders facilitate effective data digs at the campus or district level.
